SEA Vision and Valpharma: together for drugs traceability
Pavia, 22nd October 2024 – Today’s case history is dedicated to the Italian company Valpharma International S.p.A, historically specialized in the production of oral solids for third parties, which has obtained authorization from AIFA to extend its services not only to the formulation and production of drugs but also to their secondary packaging.
In this phase of its activity, the company decided to invest in a complete blister line of Marchesini Group, and decided to equip the line with serialization and aggregation systems by choosing SEA Vision solutions. Through the track and trace systems developed by SEA Vision, Valpharma can now manage the serialization and aggregation processes on the new line for its customers.
These technologies not only improve the efficiency and sustainability of the production process but also ensure the traceability and safety of the products, from production to distribution to the final consumer.
The line, which will be able to package drugs both under its own brand and for third parties, has been installed in the Pennabilli site (near the Italian city of Rimini), which covers an area of over 45,000 square meters.
